Our Mission
The Friends works to foster and support closer relationships among the Town of Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services, health professionals, health-related institutions and interested members of the community in order to address issues that affect the health and well-being of Brookline residents, workers and visitors.
The Friends’ Mission is to:

Serve as a community voice for public health

Build a network of people who support public health & racial equity to reduce health disparities in Brookline

Recognize leaders and organizations in our community who have had a positive impact on public health

Provide mini grants for community members to enable them to turn their ideas into projects

Support public education about timely topics in public health

Support public health efforts to mitigate the health effects of climate change
